Impatiently Envisioning That Which I Can't Have

I love being able to go outside at this time of year with a cute pea coat and scarf and still feel toasty warm. I love how my face tingles and burns from the icy wind. The cold brings silence. There are no animals out on a winter's night. Not even the trees with their few remaining leaves dare move. There are Christmas lights outlining the windows of some of the residents.
There are rarely opportunities like that which provide pure, unbreaking silence.

Such a silence really gives me a crisp moment to think.

I want to marry you, Michael.
That's my clear thought for the night.
